Environmental awareness and scents – a contradiction?
Consumers and companies are increasingly focussing on ethical and moral values as well as social and ecological issues. Ideally, products should be based on natural formulations, be vegan and not tested on animals. Biodegradability is also playing an increasingly important role. Hardly any other industry imposes stricter self-regulation than fragrance manufacturers. It has been a long journey to prioritise the well-being of consumers as well as environmental concerns.
